Fall Camping

Pack 33 will be heading to Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin, Delaware for an overnight adventure in their Nature Lodge for one night from November 3, 2018 to November 4, 2018.

Cost and Availability   

  • The cost is $35 per scout and $30 per adult
  • This fee includes programs provided by Ashland Nature Center 
  • We are only allowed a total of 72 participants, this includes adults. Reserve your space by RSVPing to the SignUp Genius (to be sent)
  • To be added to the Waiting List if all spots are taken, please send an email to Pack33Leaders@gmail.com
  • All participants must fill out a Health Form
General Information
  • Have dinner before you arrive. 
  • Scouts should be in uniform on arrival.
  • Please bring a healthy snack to share in either the evening (a bag of popcorn) or the next morning (a few pieces of fruit). 
  • The pack provides hot chocolate and s'mores in the evening and breakfast in the morning for all.
  • The Ashland Nature Lodge overlooks the beautiful Red Clay Valley near Hockessin, DE.

    Amenities include:

    • Two dormitories with bunk beds, accommodating up to 60 people
    • Great Room with fireplace, TV, DVD/VCR, seating for 80
    • Panoramic view
    • Restrooms with showers
    • Modern kitchen, all appliances and cooking/eating utensils provided
    • Electrical generator to ensure comfort and safety

Sunday, 11/4

    7:30 - 8:15 am  Morning Walk
    8:15 - 9:00 am  Breakfast
   9:00 - 11:00 am  Morning Program
    11:00 - 11:30 am  Pack up/Clean
    11:30 am  Departure

Please note the following items when packing for this trip:
  • Weather appropriate clothing for outdoor events and hiking
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Sleeping bag/bed roll (we will be sleeping on bunkbeds)
  • Pillow if desired
  • Change of clothing
  • NO electronic gaming devices, IPods, phones, tablets or other electronics (except for parents)
  • An Attitude for FUN!!
  • healthy snack to share in either the evening (a bag of popcorn) or the next morning (a few pieces of fruit).

Parent Action Items
  • RSVP for each parents and scout via the Evite
  • All Scouts MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • Complete a Health Form for each scout and adult attending
